Martina Blazev

I am a physician, consultant psychiatrist, with experience in general practice, psychiatry and psychotherapy.

I graduated from University of Zagreb, School of Medicine, Croatia in 2006. For the last 15 years I have been working at Department of Psychiatry, University Hospital in Zagreb, Croatia and for the last 10 years as a consultant psychiatrist. I completed additional post-specialist training in biological psychiatry and psychotherapy.

During 2016 and 2022, I worked intermittently as a consultant psychiatrist in Ireland at acute psychiatric unit.

A special area of my interest, however, is psychotherapy. From my early age, I was interested in the conscious and unconscious motives of people’s choices and lifestyles, which I often debated about with close people, friends, colleagues.

My interest in people, emotions and relationships gave me professional direction.

In 2009, I started my education in Integrative Psychotherapy. In 2014, I completed my education and earned the title integrative psychotherapist.
