Aleksandra Úrúkalo Mihaljenović
Aleksandra works as an Integrative Psychotherapist in private practice in Reykjavík. During her professional practice in Croatia she worked as a Clinical Psychologist at the Clinical Hospital in Zagreb, at the Clinic of Psychiatry.
She went through basic training on progresive muscle relaxation and breathing relaxation techniques, guided imaginary relaxation techniques, and autogenous training.
In 2013, together with a colleague, she co-founded a psychological counseling center at Iskorak – Center for Sexual and Gender Minorities in Zagreb which was the first and the only counseling center for LGBT population in Croatia at that time.
She earned her master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Zagreb, Croatia and holds Clinical and Occupational Psychology licences in Croatia.
Aleksandra is holder of European Certificate of Integrative Psychotherapy (ECIP) and also she is holder of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner licence.
She is a member of the European Association of Integrative Psychotherapy (EAIP) and Croatian Psychological Association.
